STOLEN RESET BIKE - SASKATOON AREA
One of our customers got his bike stolen last week, in the Saskatoon (Saskatchewan CANADA) area.
Not only are Reset Bikes already pretty rare, but this specific frame was custom painted with a Deep Blue Pearl Color with Metal Flake and High Clear Finish. There's only been 2 frames done in that color, and the other one is our own demo bike, currently ridden under review in the Toronto area by the guys at Dropmachine.
The sad thing in the case of Reid's bike is that this high quality frame will most likely be wasted.
YOU CAN'T RIDE THE FRAME WITH THAT PAINT JOB ON. Anyone who's seen it before, or here, will notice and/or recognise it.
GOOD LUCK TRYING TO STRIP IT TO BARE METAL as there's been multiple coats of powdercoat, paint and clear applied to reach this exclusive color...
YOU CAN'T SELL THIS FRAME even if repainted, and even if the market for such a specific geometry was good enough for resale of a 24" specific stunt frame, Reset frames are extremely easy to recognise, especially with our pierced top tube/seatstay yoke design.
Seriously, if you spot that bike riding around or for sale on the internet, please punch the guy in the face and/or drop us a line.
If you got that bike in your possession, you're a still a BASTARD... A lucky one though, considering all the nice bits that made this bike complete.
But if you got the frame in your possession looking to get ridd of it, do yourself a favour, drop it at the door at City Park Cycles in Saskatoon, Kenneth there will know what to do with this frame. |
